Half Hours
In Dutch, half hours use the next hour. For example, "half twee" (half two) means 1:30, not 2:30.
Quarter Hours
Dutch uses "kwart over" (quarter past) and "kwart voor" (quarter to) similar to English.
Time of Day
Dutch adds time-of-day markers like "'s ochtends" (morning), "'s middags" (afternoon), and "'s avonds" (evening).
Minutes Around Half
Instead of saying "twenty to three", Dutch might say "ten past half three" (tien over half drie) for 2:40.
